Sharing the Saving Grace of Christ in All the World

OUR MISSIONARIES

Missions! God's Call on Our Lives

Pray

“Brothers and sisters, pray for us,” writes the apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:25. We need prayer warriors—people willing to join with missionaries in praying for open hearts, minds, and eyes to the truth of Jesus. We need people to pray for missionaries as they work to plant and nurture gospel seeds. Resonate has a network of people committed to praying for God’s mission. Join us by signing up for our weekly Prayer Points from ministry leaders throughout North America and the world.

Send

Some people are called to share the gospel in their own communities. That’s great. You can still play a part in spreading the gospel throughout the world. In Acts 13, the Holy Spirit directs the church at Antioch to “set apart” Paul and Barnabas for the work God calls them to. The church plays an important role—they send Paul and Barnabas. The church lays hands on Paul and Barnabas, prays for them, and sends them out to share the gospel. Resonate missionaries need people to send them. They need people to catch their vision for ministry, pray for them, and support them financially so they can be obedient to God’s specific call on their lives.

Go

Like Paul and Barnabas in Acts 13, some of us are called to cross cultures in order to take the gospel to those who have never heard it, to disciple young believers, to equip local church leaders. In our world today, crossing cultures could be crossing the street or crossing an ocean. If you’re called to go—or if your heart is racing and you’re wondering if that’s you—let’s explore where and how you can join God on mission.

OUR APPROACH TO MISSIONS

So that we may glorify God , and bring others to know His love

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”

Life’s races are not generally won by those who want to accomplish something quickly.

Life’s wars are not necessarily won by those who are the strongest.

Life’s needs or provisions are not often given to the wise.

In rightly dividing the Word, we must understand who is speaking.

In this case, the writer is not giving wisdom from God, but from his own searching for meaning in life.

So, we have to look beyond the obvious, who judge life without considering God in their equation. Deut._11:13  repeated in Deut. 11:22; 13:3; 19:9; 30:6 and 16; also verse 20!

God told the Children of Israel that they should put HIM first and exclude the worship of all others.

GOD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!

01.

— We are sowers.

We are here to scatter the good seed.

02.

— We are heralds.

We are here to tell sinners of the wonderful Savior we have found.

03.

— We are salt.

We are here to preserve this world from rot and decay.

04.

— We are light.

We are here to give understanding to those who are still in darkness.
